David Fiderer is a genius and it shows. This is a must read.

David Fiderer has been the sword of truth cutting through the untruths of those looking to destroy two of the most American businesses in existence, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Throughout this book David uses publicly available facts to lay out before the reader in open arms fashion the harsh realities of the world that we live in, that the people that gravitate to positions of power don't always use those positions to benefit the world around them.
Fanniegate is the name of this $5 trillion dollar scape goat where the government has engaged in self dealing committing fraud and bold faced lying in order to make themselves look good at the expense of the housing market that makes home ownership a possibility for millions of Americans.

A Ten Star book!

An utterly fantastic book exposing the corruption of the TBTF banks, the incompetence of D.C. and the stupidity of the media. I am also worried for my children because they will have to deal with this corrosively dark power. I would rate this book Ten Stars. Everybody should read this book and organize to take the country back.

Fiderer Nails Them and the American Public Needs to Understand Just Why and How

An extremely well researched, provocative, and defining history of the ill treatment of mortgage finance ramparts Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac clumsily delivered by government officials, regulatory agencies, and the media.
Fiderer strikes away the glib mask from former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson's 2008 manipulation of the law, while the Cabinet member misled the Congress and the American people about the conditions of Fannie and Freddie.
Hank Paulson also gave insider information, long before it became public, to Wall Street allies allowing them to profit on his--ultimately unsuccessful--plans to shutter F&F behind the rules of " conservatorship."
Do government officials lie and distort? Fiderer thunderingly says "Yes."
